GSMCritic Take:
With its 7,000mAh battery and 100W charging that keep it running for a full day of heavy use and refill in minutes, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is built for people who actually look under the hood, though its ultrawide and selfie cameras lack autofocus and the price at launch stung.

Pros
Camera
Excellent Camera System: The new main sensor and telephoto deliver crisp, well-exposed stills with impressive Leica color rendering, holding detail even in large prints.
Performance
Strong Value for Specs: Flagship-grade performance and features arrive at a price that undercuts comparable rivals.
Phone Appearance
Premium Build & IP68: A high-end-feeling chassis is properly sealed to IP68 ingress protection.
Display
Bright High-End Display: The large, bright, 144Hz OLED panel supports Dolby Vision for vivid, fluid media playback.
Battery
Exceptional Battery Life: The 7,000mAh cell comfortably lasts a full day of heavy use, one of the strongest endurance results in its class.
Fast Charging: 100W wired and 50W wireless charging refill the battery in minutes, keeping downtime to a minimum.
Software
Long Software Support: A feature-rich HyperOS is backed by five years of major OS updates.
Cons
Camera
Limited Ultra-wide & Selfie Cameras: The ultrawide and front sensors lack autofocus, and the selfie camera is merely average.
Display
144Hz Rarely Used: The headline 144Hz refresh rate is almost never utilized in everyday use.
Battery
Downgraded Wired Charging: The wired charging speed is slightly slower than the previous generation.
Price
High Launch Price: The price at launch is steep, making the refinements harder to justify at first.
Software
Incremental Over 15T Pro: Most of the hardware is unchanged, so this is a refinement rather than a major leap over the predecessor.
Audio
Lackluster Loudspeakers: The speakers under-deliver for a device at this price tier.
